1. What SetupSignal is

SetupSignal ("the Service", "we", "us") is an educational platform. It displays the activity of an AI system that analyzes market data and trades a simulated (paper) account. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Not financial advice

Nothing on the Service is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, and nothing on the Service is a recommendation, solicitation, or offer to buy or sell any security, future, cryptocurrency, or other financial instrument. The AI trader's analyses, trade plans, journal entries, alerts, and notifications are educational content describing a simulated account. We are not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or commodity trading advisor, and we are not registered with the SEC, CFTC, FINRA, NFA, or any other regulator.

Trading futures and cryptocurrency involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. You alone are responsible for your trading and investment decisions. If you choose to trade real money based on anything you see on the Service, you do so entirely at your own risk. Consult a licensed financial professional before making investment decisions.

3. Simulated performance

All trading shown on the Service is simulated. Simulated results have inherent limitations: they do not represent actual trading, may not account for real market conditions such as liquidity and order-book depth, and can differ materially from results achievable in a live account. Some market data shown on the Service is delayed, and we identify delayed data where it appears. Past performance, simulated or otherwise, does not guarantee future results.

4. Accounts and subscriptions

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Paid subscriptions are billed through our payment processor (Stripe) at the price shown at checkout, renew automatically until cancelled, and can be cancelled at any time from your account, taking effect at the end of the current billing period. Free trials convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

5. Acceptable use

• Do not resell, redistribute, or republish the Service's content, data, or alerts without our written permission.
• Do not present the Service's content to others as trading signals or financial advice.
• Do not scrape, reverse engineer, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to the Service.
• Do not share your account with others.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text, and the AI-generated content it displays, is owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial educational purposes while your account is in good standing.

7. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third parties, including Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Discord (optional notifications you configure), and market data providers. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, including delivery of Discord notifications.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, availability, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose. AI-generated content can be wrong. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any trading or investment losses, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

9. Changes

We may update the Service and these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept updated Terms, stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.
